Cookie Policy

Last revised: 3 May 2026

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies brewworks.pro uses and how you control them. We have kept the site deliberately light: no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, no third-party analytics scripts following you around the internet.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Related technologies — such as localStorage, which this site uses — store small pieces of data the same way. They can be useful (remembering a preference) or invasive (tracking you across sites). We only use the useful kind.

What this site stores

Strictly necessary

  • PHP session cookie (PHPSESSID) — created when you open a page, used to protect the contact form against forged submissions. It contains a random identifier, nothing personal, and expires when you close your browser. The site cannot work safely without it, so it does not require consent.

Preference storage

  • bw_ck_choice (localStorage) — records whether you pressed Accept or Reject on the cookie banner, so we do not ask you again on every page. It is created only after you make a choice, stays until you clear your browser data, and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.

What this site does not do

No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No fingerprinting. No third-party analytics. If we ever add a measurement tool, it will be listed here first and switched off unless you accept it.

Changing your mind

Use the round settings button in the lower-left corner of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice. You can also clear cookies and site data through your browser settings — the banner will simply appear again on your next visit, and the site will keep working either way.
